Light expels darkness. As far as the light reaches there is no darkness. In John 8:12 Jesus spoke out and said “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have thelightoflife.” Then again in John 9:5 he reiterates “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
What can this mean?
Isaiah 9:2 says “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.” This is Isaiah’s prophecy of the coming Messiah 800 years before the event was fulfilled.
Later in the same chapter, vs 6-7, are the infamous “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.”
We just celebrated the birth of our Messiah for the 2025th time. Talk about a legacy!
There is a revival happening right now within the youth of America. They are coming to Jesus across our country on college campuses. They are returning to the church. Pray with me that Holy Spirit will lead them to Bible teaching churches founded in Jesus and His Word.
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”
