Patriotism

Patriotism

It’s wonderful to feel a sense of belonging, pride, and collectivism; Patriotism.

The United States at one time was a nation “under God”. But I don’t believe that is the case today. We have gone astray from our Founding Father’s intentions and roots.

There is a remnant in our country that still believes the spiritual truths our nation was founded on. But many others have no relationship or understanding of God and His hand in the founding of this union.

Our best line of defense to preserve the republic and democracy of our nation is on our knees. We must pray about our nation’s current path and ask God what our response needs to be.

I believe that we are to speak the truth in love. We are to VOTE exercising this right as long as it is still available. And we are to oppose ideology that is contrary to God’s WORD.

Does that mean we need to go to protests? Are we to participate in revolts? What about backing a candidate for office that doesn’t stand for Biblical truth?

Our positions should line up with the Bible. If they don’t we’re heading for a national derailment. There are some Biblical issues on the voting ballot coming up soon, like abortion, now being titled Women’s Reproductive Rights.

Pray about your vote, then VOTE for heaven’s sake. Please don’t stand on the sidelines as our freedoms and rights are being attacked from every angle.

It doesn’t matter if you’re one party or another! We should participate as GOD directs us in His Word. If your party or candidate supports anti-Biblical issues, don’t vote for them! If your candidate is a baphoon in public but stands for Biblical values, pray for him or her and let God deal with the annoying issue.

I believe the foundation of our nation is under attack. We can’t let our voices become weak, we must use the voice we have and that is to exercise patriotism by praying and voting, in that order.
