I recently listened to the song “Jesus Have It All” by Jeremy Riddle, and it struck a chord deep inside me. It’s been my heart’s cry for some time now. The song is beautiful, and a link to it is provided below.
As I was listening to the song, I echoed its prayer: Jesus, Have It All! During my prayer and worship, Holy Spirit began to whisper to my soul about things I have been praying over and for. He asked me questions like: What if I take you down to $0, and I am all you can rely on? What if everything you’ve dreamed about and are praying for is not what I have for you? In you’re disappointment, will you still cry out “Jesus Have It All”?
These were hard scenarios for me to ponder. I’m sorry to say that it shouldn’t have taken any time at all, but it did. Finally, I cried out again, Jesus, Have It All! I want what You have for me, nothing more, nothing less.
