The quick answer to this question is no! Evil does not yet reign on earth; God does.
John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.” NET
God is in control! He always has been. But the devil is on the prowl seeking those whom he may devour, and we are told to be sober and alert (1Peter 5:8). Besides, we know the whole story – God wins in the end and Satan will be bound and banished into the abyss.
