I love it when the Body of Christ works together the way God designed us to. A family in need gets food and money to pay bills. A family who just had a baby is brought meals for a few weeks as they settle into the new routine. Another family who just lost a loved one gets meals as well as they grieve.
Jesus experienced homelessness, being hungry, and people providing food. He grieved for Lazarus and Jerusalem. He cared for those the Father entrusted to him. He prayed a blessing over a boy’s lunch and fed over 5,000 people. This is the Body of Christ working together.
Jesus has called us to love one another as Christ has loved us. It’s a beautiful thing when the Body of Christ works together the way we have been called to.
