The cross is proof of God’s love for us! The empty tomb is proof of life, the life of Jesus that can now be resident in us by the power of the Holy Spirit.
John 1:1 says that in the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was fully God. (NET)
Jesus was with God at the beginning of creation, and so was the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:2 tells us that the “Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water.” (NET) So now we have evidence of the Trinity’s involvement in creation and throughout the Bible.
For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NET)
Revelation 22:20,21 says: The one who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. (NET)
Acts 2:25-28 Psalm 16:1-8: “For David says concerning Him:‘I foresaw the LORD always before my face,For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;Moreover, my flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Hades,Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You have made known to me the ways of life;You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’”
God is Good and Just. He is unable to be mean or vindictive. HE IS GOOD.
